Sorry for the lack of posting lately. I'm still pretty active on Twitter and Tumblr, but I'm taking a break from blogging. I'm not sure when I'll be back to regular posting, but hopefully soon. My dad died completely unexpectedly on November 2nd and I'm a little busy dealing with that right now. I'm going back to school on Monday and have a ton of stuff to catch up on. I decided at the last minute to do a version of NaNoWriMo but had to abandon that. Hopefully I'll be back to blogging and back to writing and caught up with school soon. Thank you to all my online friends who have been there for me through all this :)

In My Mailbox - October 2011
In My Mailbox is a weekly (I do it monthly) meme hosted by The Story Siren where bloggers share all the books they've gotten. Last month I got:
Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life by Anne Lamott
Enthralled: Paranormal Diversions (anthology)
The Fire in Fiction: Passion, Purpose and Techniques to Make Your Novel Great by Donald Maass
Self-Editing for Fiction Writers: How to Edit Yourself into Print by Renni Browne & Dave King
What the Dog Saw and Other Adventures by Malcolm Gladwell
How to Save a Life by Sara Zarr
The Death Cure (The Maze Runner #3) by James Dashner
The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
Clockwork Prince (The Infernal Devices #2) by Cassandra Clare (I won an ARC)
Happy reading!
